I have most certainly been craving cucumbers in the stick form for a few days.
I’ve been eating cucumbers all week with my salads…but there’s something about cucumber sticks that make eating so much more fun…Especially when they’re paired with baby carrots and hummus sprinkled with paprika.
Before catching the bus to Walmart, I had some Herbed Chicken and Brown Rice soup from Campbell’s.
For a microwavable, ready-to-eat kind of meal, it’s not that bad (nutrition wise). It was light and exactly what I needed to warm me up from the freezing – 11 degrees (celsius) outside.
And here are the results of my adventure to the grocery:
- A pack of tomatoes (who ever knew tomatoes came in a plastic bag like that!)
- 3 english cucumbers
- Dempster’s Whole Grain Tortillas
- a baby spinach mix from Organic Girl
- sliced mushrooms and
- a pack of frozen salmon
I’m definitely looking forward to creating something new with these ingredients in the upcoming days.
